Who are you? I'm just a woman from Philly, by way of Camden, by way of Atlanta, and now, back from Philly... I am passionate about my family, (biological, adoptive, and spiritual); I love them deeply. My name is an affirmation. Kinaya Jolomi Adé means: "I am complete because the Lord has settled me; therefore, I can now wear my crown."  My name had been awaiting me; it took over 40 years for me to walk into it.  I love the Lord with everything that is in me, and through His guidance I try to positively impact the lives of as many as I can while I am residing on this planet.  My motto for life is, "Whoever Gets There First, Open the Door for the Rest." Oh, and I LOVE Purple!!!

Tell us about your ministry and what you are most passionate about: I am passionate about my creative writing ministry. I love to write songs, plays, short stories, poems, and essays. I believe that healing can come when real life traumas and challenges are portrayed through writing and acting. My goal is to open a Community Theatre of Healing through our 501C3: Sanctuary Village Community Development Corporation.

What are your gifts and talents to the Body of Christ? I currently operate in the offices of the Apostle and Teacher. My spiritual gifts according to I Corinthians 12 and Romans 12, are the Word of Wisdom; Word of Knowledge, Prophecy, Healing, Discerning of Spirits, Teaching, Ministry, Giving, Showing Mercy, and Exhortation (through prophetic singing). I also heavily utilize the Spirits of Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, and Counsel to help me supernaturally understand and teach the Word of God and minister spiritual and psychological counsel. My talent is Creative Writing.

Who are you? I'm a man that is often misunderstood, and I believe my calling is why. I appear to be rough, but I'm a big teddy bear. I believe my appearance is strictly for Abba's purpose, and that is to reach certain souls. I'm a Jesus freak, a soldier for the Lord, and a vessel. I love hard; especially on the lost. I've been talked about my whole life and have experienced persecution that was out of my control. But it was all because I chose to follow Jah and to build me up even stronger to continue to do my part for the Kingdom of God. 

Tell us about your ministry and what you are most passionate about: SoulCafe Presents is a videography company that focuses on capturing moments led by the Holy Spirit. It reveals pure Holy Ghost leading a person's anointing. The purpose of recording and editing is to spread the Love of Christ through videos. What's most passionate about my ministry is I can take a video, go out into the streets, and then share it with non-believers -- because souls being saved is my ultimate goal.

What are your gifts and talents to the Body of Christ? My gifts are healing, discernment, & prophecy. My talent to the Body of Christ is rhyming. The music draws them in while the lyrics are penetrating through what's broken, replacing that emptiness with God's love.

Tell us an interesting fact about you or interest that you have that few know about: I would rather hang with sinners that have a desire to be saved & delivered than with most people. Why? Because Jesus broke bread with robbers, killers, and thieves. He healed people that didn't love Him. We are to be like Christ.  Few people can be around sinners and be comfortable, and I'm the opposite.

Who are you?  I'm a 32 year old native of Somerville, TN and current resident of Memphis, TN.  I was educated in the Fayette County School System and is a graduate of Tennessee State University, where he majored in Arts and Sciences with concentrations in Humanities. 

I am a member of and have affiliations, past and present, with several community and civic organizations.  Being no stranger to leadership and hard work, I am presently a member of H-CAP (HIV Care and Prevention Group), a member of the Executive Committee of H-CAP and serves as Chair of the Evaluation and Assessment Committee of H-CAP.  I am a graduate of the Memphis 2016 L.E.A.D. (Leaders Emerging And Developing) Cohort for nonprofit leaders, a 10 week program.  I was also 1 of 10 chosen HIV 360 fellows in the country, with the Human Rights Campaign in Washington, D.C.   

I have had the opportunity to work for several organizations whose emphasis has been public health; however my time employed with Emory University’s Hope Clinic in Atlanta, GA working in HIV clinical research was the one that really sparked the flames of my passion to devote a life of service to Public Health with a target specifically on HIV/AIDS as it pertains to African American men.  That experience was both rewarding and remarkable and is a cause that will forever be near and dear to my heart.  As a result of the experience at Emory University and being an advocate for HIV/AIDS awareness I returned to Tennessee and became an employee of Friends for Life Corporation in Memphis and served as an Outreach Specialist for their new initiative “The Haven” located in East Memphis.  It was only 6 months in the position of specialist before I became the Program Coordinator, and began to oversee the entire Haven Outreach Program for the organization.  More recently, I describe my newest move as a lateral one and forward movement across the spectrum– from research to community to Program Director on the state level.  As of April 2016 I became one of the newest Public Health Program Directors (PrEP Director) for the Tennessee Department of Health.

In addition to my secular work and passion, which I also believe is a part of my ministry and God-given purpose, serve as a licensed and ordained Elder and the Pastor of The Destiny Church in Somerville, TN.  I have been afforded the opportunity to travel frequently, be a part of many panels, serve on several committees, and do various types of workshops for audiences ranging from churches, small groups, community service and fraternal organizations. I often say I was born in a small town but have experienced a big city life and vows to give back and mentor those who have similar upbringings, so that they know life is what you make it and anything you desire can be achieved if you not only believe but be willing to challenge the status quo. 

Tell us about your ministry and what you are most passionate about: The Destiny Church will endeavor to help individuals discover purpose and destiny in their lives.  We have been called to Make the KINGDOM Relevant to a Forgotten & Excluded Generation.  We have a "Go Get Them" mentality versus a sit back and wait on them to come approach.

We will make the Kingdom Alive and restore its relevance to this generation by the leading of the Holy Spirit through Love, Education, Advocacy, Service and Empowerment. We believe that EVERYONE on this Earth has purpose and potential within them that is meant to make them better, their surroundings better and ultimately catapult them into the greatest THEM, they were destined by God to be.

One definition of DESTINY is "the fixed order of things" and if we can help people of ALL ages, from ALL walks of life, various backgrounds, etc in the city of Somerville, county of Fayette and state of Tennessee to know that their GREATNESS has already been determined, by teaching them to identify it and maximize upon it we believe that through God's guidance and instruction we can change individuals, our homes, spilling over into our communities, generations at large and ultimately changing the world.

We will enact this Destiny movement through teaching biblical principles, living exemplary lives before those we are assigned to, exhibiting faith and sharing honest testimony as to how God has made the difference and is continually working within us. The basis of it all and the packaging of it will be and must be LOVE, the unwavering, untiring, unconditional, and untainted LOVE OF GOD.

Tell us an interesting fact about you or interest that you have that few know about:  An interesting fact about me that few know is I once thought I would have a career being an Event Planner.  I love to put together events, themes, layouts, menus, etc.  I even had a name picked out, Events by Alante Durand (a combination of 2 of my brothers names).
